***CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS***

Pursuant to Article 16, Section 9(n) of the Sheet Metal Workers' International Constitution and Ritual, Sheet Metal Workers' Local #9 in Denver, Colorado is entering into negotiations for a new contract, and no transfer cards will be accepted after April 1, 2008.

***UNION MEETINGS***

Local #9 Union Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm at the Union Hall at 7510 W. Mississippi Avenue, Lakewood, the next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 6:30pm. The informational meeting held in Colorado Springs will be held on the Tuesday following the Denver Union Meeting. The next informational meeting in Colorado Springs will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 6:30pm at the Colorado Springs Sheet Metal Training Institute; 1420 Quail Lake Loop, Colorado Springs. RETIREE MEETINGS

All retired tinners are welcome to join old friends and co-workers on the 2nd Tuesday of even numbered months for the Local #9 Retiree Meeting. The meeting starts at 10:00a.m. at the Local #9 Meeting Hall at 7510 West Mississippi Avenue in Lakewood, CO ~ we have no agenda - just coffee, donuts and catching up with other retirees. The meeting dates for 2008 are February 12, 2008; April 8, 2008; June 10, 2008; August 12, 2008; October 14, 2008 and December 9, 2008.
